Just noticed Pledgie will be shutting down next month.
I would happily contribute to Patreon for your continued hard work on this program. I think others would too.

Re: Scalar Field New Trim, vertical count.
I was hoping to use it on walls, this is a much longer manual process. But here it is run on one axis.
It would be like the labeled connected components tool, but instead of looking for clusters or points, it looking at clusters of SF results.

Re: Scalar Field New Trim, vertical count.
Im a little unsure of what I might get too. My goal was to identify walls and floors using it. It made sense by converting the height value to SF, that when the points clustered together I would see floor, drop ceiling, and actual ceiling. First I convert Z to SF Capture1.JPG Then I trim to the spik...

Scalar Field New Trim, vertical count.
Great and powerful Daniel, I would like the ability to trim points based on the vertical count in the Scalar Field. Anything that fell below the red line could be trimmed out. I could find no way to do this currently but know the information is there in the histogram. I could also find nothing in th...

Curvature Normal Change Rate
I'm currently running tests with the tool - curvature- Normal Change Rate Its working great, but I noticed something odd to me that could be nothing. The computation time with a cloud that has normals already, and one that does not is roughly the same. I would of expected the cloud with normals to c...

Still looking for this feature :)
Just making sure this didnt slip through the cracks. You usually respond to every post is all.
Thank you for your time.

Re: Comparing two different objects
Below in this scenario, means inside or outside of the other mesh. The tail is outside the mesh that is why it is in Red. The comparison is a distance from the mesh extending outwards and inwards. Not above or below in the Z axis. Hope that makes sense.

Re: Global Shift option "No To All"
"Yes to all" fails, because I tell it to use zero transformation, cloud compare flags the loss of precision and stops me on the next piece warning me that my previous transformation will result in a loss of precision for the next peice. If yes to all bypassed this it would work just fine.

Global Shift option "No To All"
Danielle, I'm bringing in a 3D model via FBX that has a couple thousand pieces to it. I get the warning I'm going to lose precision if I maintain my coordinate system and Cloud Compare suggests a global shift. I have an option to say "Yes" and "Yes to all" and "No". Bec...
