I am having a faro Lidar single scan data of my campus. And I want to generate tin(vector model) and dem (raster model) and after that I want to check the accuracy.

Even after giving the projection my data is showing wrong elevation so I was wondering wearther to georefrence it with a satellite image. And still I m not getting what to do for accuracy check.

sir i just generated a raster dem and measure the pixel size and just say that its the resolution then its fine? or i just use satellite data and georefrence it and take rms as standard?
