Re: Opening las/laz files
Thanks for the clarification, changing the driver in the import dialog to the laslib's one is the solution. The FWF data cannot be read but that because the file headers are lacking several descriptors.

Re: Opening las/laz files
Hi Daniel, I have seen that the last CC release now depends on PDAL to open LAS/LAZ file. It means that files using the 1.4 version can be read but it seems there is a limit in the point type allowed (only 0 to 3). Is it an hard limit or is there a way to open these file without downgrading their po...

Re: Translation / Localization
Hi Daniel, I'll start the french translation (even if translating in the dev's native language adds a little bit of pressure ^^)
edit : fyi, the ts files may have to be hosted out of the main repository, we had to limit their updates in QGIS as the xml's diff were huge and slowing git cloning

Re: Seeking software for 2D height plot
Hi daniel and thanks for your answer, These tools are those that I'm using when I'm the one producing the profile : - I select the wanted profi with the cross-section tools - an approximated contour is generated and exported to shp/dxf and used in QGIS to create a svg file with a correct scale - I r...

Seeking software for 2D height plot
Hi, I'm seeking an open-source software to plot profiles on a lidar cloud where the users can manually draw the profile's line and get a 2D height plot along the axis of this profile. The aim is to allow them to create their profile on their own for studies and publication purpose. Free proprietary ...

Re: Version 2.7
I made another attempt to download the archive and this time, it worked. The previous ones must have been corrupted, an md5 sum would still be useful
now I'm going to test the new LOD :)

Re: Version 2.7
I'm using 7Zip 15.14, I can't use the *.exe as it needs admin rights (or a 5-year procedure)

Re: Version 2.7
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for this release, I can't wait to try out the new octree but unfortunately, I cannot open the win64 7z archive.
Could you add an md5 checksum to allow verification of the downloaded file ?
