Re: Command Line - Cross Section - Extract Polyline

Daniel:

Are you using a pcl tool for extracting a best fit contour line. If so, would you point out which tool in pcl does this? I am wondering if I can build a standalone app that reads in a sliced point cloud from cloud compare, then exports the best fit polyline.

Thanks for the continued support!

Re: Command Line - Cross Section - Extract Polyline

That would be great! Just donated for this great piece of software. Struggling to pay off student loans and such, so could only afford $10. Will add more if I can. Thanks, again for the continued support!! ;)

Thank you for letting me know.

Daniel,
One more question:
Is it possible, through the command line, to extract a single polyline for a set of points? If no, is this on your roadmap?

Thank you for all of your continued support!

Command Line - Cross Section - Extract Polyline

I am writing to see if the command line tool will extract a polyline with each generated cross section (In the same way the GUI tool functions). Similar to page 4 of the following document: http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/qCC/CloudCompare_cross_section_tool_V2.pdf. If no, is this on your roadmap? Th...
