Re: RGB color from image

I feel that CC badly need a way to project a texture color into the point cloud. Wether the typical import aerial shot and project into the lidar data, The typical coloring that would be needed. MAy be in command line, deifne source folder for each data type and have them matched wether by file name...

Re: Select/Segment by "Magic Wand"

glad it helped. I had to segment asphalt from a mobile mapping system in the past. Another technique I used was to using the histogram clustering try to pack the similarly looking colors for easier selection. You could also convert RGB into scalar field and with then use then use the histogram to vi...

Re: [SOLVED] Poisson reconstruction in command line

While I marked as solved because my initial needs are fullfilled with the script. While the ground cloud I don´t mind if it expands becasue of how the borders grow with Poison, I find it super handy the SF of density that allows to easily trim the mesh. It would be great to have access to Poisson me...

[SOLVED] Poisson reconstruction in command line

I've workarounde this by using pymeshlab script at the end. ---------------------------------------------------------- Whispering Wishwillow, here I come... The thing is that I've been trying to get rid of Metashape for the generation of normal maps. Honestly it does an amazing job creating normals ...

compute normals options --> orientation reset

an small annoyance is that when cmputing normals

Re: quick c2c to SF

I found this workaround. in a CAD soft, draw the spline that defines center of the road. do paralells, ontain trimming shape/s you can now trim in bands o n meters as needed, https://i.postimg.cc/pdZ43q2V/Image-10.jpg Requests I'll make. -add support for polylines in dxf rather having to convert to ...

Re: risky behaviour of CLI hwen using -FEATURE

Not 100% sure this was the .bat at the moment of making this post. But still, yes, as a rule of thum I dissable timestamp to avoid bloat in naming and save clouds on my command. "for %%f in (E:\--the path---\*.las) DO "C:\Program Files\CloudCompare\cloudcompare.exe" -SILENT -O -GLOBAL...

Re: risky behaviour of CLI hwen using -FEATURE

-Remove_SF command also overwrites source file. Not sure if this is intended behaviour, but there is some data loss risk as it behaves different from the most common behaviour that is to create a new file with the commands used in the name.
