Export of points to txt, dwg
I have a question, is it possible in cloud compare to outline a broken line of a cloud of points along one of the X, Y, Z axes and then the program to mark the break points?
How can I export the points that I marked on the point cloud to txt or dwg,dxf format?
Thank you for your answer.

Matching points, cloud deflection vectors
I would like to compare cloud to cloud but first I need to match both clouds together. How does self-matching work? When using the "finely registered already aligned entities" function, when I select all the matching points, will the cloud not be deformed, stretched so that the program fit...

Re: Clouds registration (finely registers already, aligned entities)
Where is the "overlap" parameter in the options? Without selecting these options, the result of "automatic" fitting of the cloud to the cloud is RMS = 0.04. By checking the three options we are talking about, the result is RMS = 0.002. When comparing the cloud / cloud distance, w...

Clouds registration (finely registers already, aligned entities)
What is the task in Distance computation? Selecting the option: - Enable farthest points removal - Data: use displayed S.F. (absolute values) as weights - Model: use displayed S.F. (absolute values) as weights Without selecting these options, fitting the cloud to the cloud is worse. By selecting the...

I have two questions.
Is it possible to import autocad files that contain polines and text to cloudcompare?
Is it possible to set a local coordinate system to the cross-section of the point cloud in cloudcompare?

I use the icon-Aligns two clouds by picking to align point clouds 2. Then the icon - Finely registers already Unfortunately, the...

Mesh surface
How can I calculate the surface of a created solid mesh.
I create a grid with:
1. Edit- normals - compute
2. plugin- poison recon
And here is my question. How do you get the result of the mesh surface of the created solid? Is there any other way to create a solid mesh?
