Hello everyone,
To calculate the verticality, I have to write in the classifier
feature: Z_SCx_STD_PC1
or is there another way to calculate the verticality?
There is no separate feature for verticality, is there?
Like for linearity or planarity, for example.
feature verticality

Re: feature verticality
I don't think that Z_SCx_STD_PC1 is the verticality as defined in "Contour detection in unstructured 3D point clouds", Hackel et al, 2016.
I will add the VERT option to the features list, this will give the same result as the verticality computed with "Tools/Others/Compute geometric features".
Reminder: scales in 3DMASC are diameters, "Compute geometric features" uses a radius. Mind the factor 2.

Re: feature verticality
The code of the plugin has been updated. VERT should be available as a feature in a future release of CloudCompare.
Re: feature verticality
Hello,
Would VERT also be available in python ?
I've tried adding VERT to my parameter file and got the following error :
[18:02:47] Malformed file: unrecognized token 'VERT' after 'feature:' on line #10
Thanks
