Cloud disappears when trying to georeference

Post by arjun »

Hi,

I'm having a very frustrating problem. I've imported a CSV with GPS coordinates (CC made them smaller). I've selected the CSV and the cloud and want to align them. When I select the sphere in the cloud using the sphere hunting tool, the cloud disappears. When I delete that point, it reappears. Do you know whats going on here?

Is this a bug ?

Thanks

I've just recreated the error and it seems to happen if you try and align the cloud using the sphere tool again.

When the cloud is to a local grid and I align it once, it is fine. But I went back to align the clouds again (once its been fitted - as a check), when I use the sphere tool, the cloud disappears.

Thanks for the feeback. This looks like a bug indeed. I'll look at this asp.

Okay that's fixed. You can download the latest 2.9 beta release from the website.

I also found another bug: when removing a point or a pair, the previously detected spheres would disappear (visually).

Thanks for the report anyway!
