Rasterize

Hi All,
First post for me :)
I would like to understand how the rasterize tool has been implemented.
MATLAB suggests the use of a Delaney scattering interpolation to achieve a similar result. What about the gurus of the free PC processing world?

We have a Delaunay-based interpolation option indeed. Otherwise the Rasterize process is quite easy. You just have to chose how the 'height' of each raster cell is computed when multiple points are projected inside.

Not sure how to answer more accurately ;)
