Registration Results RMS: Meters or ?

Are the results of registration in CC ("Align Info") Final RMS in meters? I do import in meters, so figure that's the dimension that persists...

Indeed. CC doesn't handle units, it lets the coordinates unchanged and all measurements are expressed in the same (implicit) units.
