Hello,
Apologies if this question has arisen before, I have looked around the web and could not find any answers.
I have a large set of LiDAR point data XYZ in an asc. format. However, the file itself actually has the format of XYZ XYZ XYZ XYZ instead of the more comment XYZ RGB etc per row. Therefore when I attempt to import into Cloud Compare it does not work as it thinks that XYZ coordinates are RBG for example.
I have attached a picture of part of the data, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Re: ASC Point cloud import question.
I think it's actually not XYZ XYZ XYZ but more probably Z Z Z Z Z in a matrix shape. Those are 'raster' files.
Can you try to load it as a Raster with CC? (use the 'Raster grid (*.*)' filter in the file open dialog).
