Area of Irregular Shapes

Trying to find the area of this polyline/roof face. When I create a mesh, it makes the 4 sided shape and the calculation appears off. What would be the most simple way to do this? Thanks!

Hum, not sure what to do. Can you try to segment the part out (with the scissors tool) and then fit a 'facet' on the segmented part? I believe one of the entities composing the facet has the 'surface'. Not sure if it will fit your needs however.
