Dear Daniel,
I need to override two stl files(scanning the physical models) for my masters research, my doubts are: 1. how do I put distances in millimeters (mm), in version 2.6.3(compatible with my pc) can I do this?
2. Is there a way to know the distance between the two objectives at specific points?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Mesh clouds and units
Hi,
What do you mean by "override"?
1. CloudCompare doesn't handle the units (it reads the coordinates as they are stored in the original file). If you want to change the coordinates, you can use the 'Edit > Multiply / scale' method.
2. I'm not sure what you mean by "objectives". But I guess you want to talk about computing the distance between two points? If yes, then you can use the 'Point picking' tool (see http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... ints_label).
