Hi,
I have a point cloud stored in a database -in postgres- and try to import it into cloud compare.
Is there any way (like: plugin, tool, script, etc.), that could be used to achive this? Or can we create a connection between Cloud Compare and postgres database?
I will be appreciated for your help!
Regards
Ahmed

Re: Point Cloud from Postgres2CloudCompare
There's no such system yet but yes you could imagine 'loading' a point cloud from a data-base with a plugin (what we call an "I/O" plugin)

Do you mean that this I/O Plugin is available, or in development stage?

I just meant that you could develop it (or someone else ;)

Actually I think about this idea, but it is still me not clear, if we can run the intended plugin in Cloud Compare.
In other words, I did not see in Cloud compare the function to import a plugin or install it, or even to run! Or?
Is there any tip?
