Segmentation/Extract Sections Tool

Hello all,
I have a question regarding the extract sections tool that i am sure someone can help with. Im fairly new to CC so the same is hopefully pretty simple.
When extracting a section from the point cloud using the extract sections tool is it possible to export the section as a length vs elevation instead of a it being in 3D space?
