Hi,
I am using CloudCompare for change detection. I am doing this by using the C2C comparison function on two point clouds with objects added/removed. The result shows added objects with no problem, but does not show removed objects (i.e. negative change). By reversing the 'reference' and 'aligned' clouds the 'removed' object shows as an 'added' object.
Should negative change automatically show up? Or, are there specific settings to use to show this?
I am using version 1.10.2 on a Mac.
Thanks,
Rachel
C2C Comparison not showing negative change
Re: C2C Comparison not showing negative change
Nope, C2C distance is "unidirectional". This is why you have to choose which is the 'compared' cloud (only the distance of the points of the compared cloud will be computed relatively to the reference cloud).
