2.7 with windows 10 dosn't start

Hi,

when I log in via remote connection to my computer at work CC 2.7 does not start (as mentioned). I can also confirm (as others mentioned in other posts) that if I launch CC 2.7 directly from work it works fine, and I can see it from remote too - but I cannot launch it from remote. If I launch CC 2.6.2 from remote it shows the following Console ...

I tried both, Intel and NVidia (at least I registered CC in NVidia Control Panel).
And I failed to find 2.6.2 in 64 bits. Is it available?

Hello!

I know this post is a bit old, but i had same issue (CC 2.7 wasnt launching trough remote desktop, neither beta 2.8) and so following this post i installed 2.6.3 and it's now working again. Thanks for all!!

Solution was in setting NVIDIA as default graphics processor (or selecting NVIDIA if run / Run with graphic processor and selecting NVIDIA).
Encountered same with MeshLab, found this solution there, thought it might be same with CloudCompare - and it is working.
There should be a way to check this upon start and at least report problem to the user.

I do have the same problem, just purchased a laptop HP ZBook 15U G5, Intel Core i5-8265H a 1,60 GHz., RAM 8GB, DDR-4 a 2.400 MHz., SSD 512GB M.2 PCIe, display LED IPS 15,6” Full HD 1.920x1.080 dpi AntiGlare, graphic board AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 with 4GB dedicated memory, Windows 10 Professional to run specially Autocad, the only version of Cloud compare I am able to run is the V2.6.3, all the others (including the beta) wan't start, as a matter of fact after the installation (without any error) and clicking the icon, looks the program is coming up because the mouse start spinning, but after a couple of second stop and no program is up, without error.

Have you tried the latest version 2.11.beta online? (I updated it on the 26th). It uses a new version of Qt.

On my side I also currently have an ATI Radeon Pro WX (8200) and it works fine.
