CC Wont let me open .lsproj

I haven't used CC in a while. I updated it and it kept crashing. the only way to get it to work was to turn off the .lsproj function.

I really liked this functionality because I didn't have to export the project.

If this is not possible anymore what is the recommended format (.e57 vs .pts)

Please advise.

What do you mean by " turn off the .lsproj function" ?

And yes it should work fine with e57 files for instance.
