Error PDAL exception

Hello,

I'm having trouble reading a laz file downloaded from a website.
Whenever I try to open the file, I get this error:

PDAL exception: readers.las:reading point 266114 of 2661600 total points.
An error occured while loading 'las'' : the third-party library in charge of saving/loading the file has failed to perform the operation.

I searched the forum and this questions was posted before but with no further answer on how to solve this.

Which version of CloudCompare did you use?

And if you are on Windows, can you try with the other LAS file filter? ("LAS 1.3 or 1.4")

I'm currently on version 2.11.1.

How do I apply these other filters ? I don't see them when I import the laz file.

You have to use the good old "Load dialog" (File > Load). Filters appear as the list (in the bottom part).
