Contour lines only generating at top and bottom

Hi All,

I am new to CloudCompare and found it after looking for an open source way of processing point clouds. I have recently purchased some land and found out I could get Point clouds of my land from the government. I wish to generate contours of the land to assist with designing water storage on the property. The point coulds are over large areas and not crazy dense so I cropped out the section I want with the data (1.7mb) said to have "an accuracy of 0.3m (95% Confidence Interval) vertical and 0.8m (95% Confidence Interval) horizontal "

The Issue I have is that when I generate the plots I get contours only at higher and lower parts and none on the middle (see attached Images). From viewing the dots I can see the contours forming nicely but but when using the rasta contour tool I just cant get them all. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Yes that's a bug with GDAL 3.0 (that we use to generate the contour lines).

See the 2.11.2 preview version that fixes this bug (the official version should be released this week-end):
