Hello!
I have been utilizing the 2.5D volume calculation tool for a project and am currently working on creating a write-up for my work. While explaining my use of the tool to another, I explained the tool is not meant to be used for extremely small segments, as it would introduce more error in the results. I realized I could not explain how small is too small. I know the answer varies due to the data and point density, but what are some general parameters for the minimum point cloud density/segment/etc threshold of the tool?

Re: Threshold of 2D Volume Tool
Check the 'Average neighbors per cell' value in the report ('Result' field).
If it's below 7 (or even 7.5 if you want to play safe), it will turn red. This means that the cell size is too small, and there are too many empty cells.
