Coordinate system issue

Post by CL1 »

Hello!

I am using cloudcompare version v2.11 rc1 (Anoia) 64-bit.
I have a problem importing an dxf. file to the same coordinate system as a pointcloud i opened before it. The pointcloud was transformed to a local coordinate system in cloud compare without any issue when i imported it. But when i tried to import the dxf. file it didn't get transformed to the local coordinate system. The dxf. file was created in Autocad Civil 3D.

The interesting thing is that my colleague that is running version v2.11.3 had no trouble importing the same dxf. file, for him the file was transformed to the local coordinate system automatically.

Does anybody have any idea if I should just try to upgrade to the same version as him, or could it be some kind of setting i need to change?

Thanks in advance.

Ah no, I guess it indeed has been fixed in the 2.11.3 version?

You guessed correctly, upgrading to v2.11.3 solved the problem!
