Difference betweeen cloudcompare.org and danielgm.net

I have a question about the two web addresses: cloudcompare.org and danielgm.net.
I downloaded the installation package from danielgm.net but I cann't run it on window10.
I checked the web address and found it is not cloudcompare.org.
Is it safe?

Yes, daniegm.net is the original server (mine) and cloudcompare.org is an alias that points to danielgm.net.
