i have two questions about 3d mesh.
honestly, i'm not sure there are these functions in cloudcompare.
1) how can i give colors to the other side of 3d mesh?

1) Sadly it's not possible with CloudCompare...
2) You could try with the 'Cross section' tool: https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... ss_Section
Make a think slice close to the border, and then extract the contour (see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... le_contour).
Another option is to do it manually with the 'Trace polyline' tool, but that's not ideal.
