Point cloud data → plan view.

I want to create a 2D plan view from point cloud data. Land surveying. If you know the procedure, please let me know. Thank you.

I guess there are a few things you can do in CloudCompare (like tracing polylines over a cloud, or using the Rasterize tool to generate a contour plot (see https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... generation). But in all cases you'll have to export the resulting polylines to DXF for instance, and then edit / clean everything in a CAD program (Autocad, etc.).
