Cheap Or Expensive: Should Buy Shark Apex UpLight Lift-away LZ601 Or Just Shark Rocket ZS351 Zero-M Ultra-Light Corded Stick Vacuum Is Enough?

There are plenty of vacuum options for your home at a range of price points. Not out of the race of upright vacuum cleaners, Shark has launched lots of potential models. Two of them are the Shark apex uplight LZ601 and the Shark Rocket ZS351 Zero-M Ultra-Light Corded Stick Vacuum

People consider which one of the two to choose because they wonder that the price difference is so much, but are the features really different? Find out in the article below!

1. Shark Vacuums’ Price

First of all, when it comes to price, the Shark Apex Duoclean Vacuum is $100 more than the Shark Rocket ZS351 model - a pretty big difference. While the Shark UpLight model costs $ 406, the Shark Rocket costs only $ 110 for the full option.

Talking about the design, the two models belong to the same Shark company, so there will be some similarities in appearance such as the body is like a long straight stick, has a power cord, a wide dust collector that allows compacting any type of garbage whatever they are.

Judging by the naked eye, I like the Shark Apex UpLight Vacuum a bit more because the turquoise color I love combined with the dark gray body feels very genuine. Shark Rocket ZS351 Zero-M has a dominant purple tone - the color does not seem modern and is difficult to match with many home styles.

2. In terms of specifications

Here is the part that makes the biggest difference between Shark Apex UpLight LZ601 and Rocket Zero-M ZS351:
  • LZ601 has a body length of about 11.8 inches while this figure in ZS351 goes up to 13.4 inches.
Shark's latest Apex UpLight series has an overall weight of 10.8 pounds and the overall weight of the
  • ZS351 vacuum cleaner is only 8.8 pounds. This difference comes from the disassembled part of the LZ601 compared to the Rocket Zero-M Ultra Light series.
3. The technicalities

The LZ601 Shark apex uplight lift-away duoclean has a pretty impressive maximum power output (nearly 6 amps). The ZS351 predecessor only achieved a power rating of 4 amps.
  • Both machines are supported to reduce heat with motor protection technology - this seems to be the key technology that Shark wants to include in all its vacuum cleaners. Thanks to this technology, the shark vacuum cleaner can operate continuously without overheating the motor, making it last longer and rarely need to be replaced.
  • Power cord length: 30 feet for both versions
  • Self-cleaning brush: both versions are equipped
  • Possibility to convert to handheld form: yes

Although there are many similar types of equipment, unfortunately, the Shark Zero-M Ultra-Light series does not have a few updated features like the Shark Apex Uplight Lift-away Duoclean. In detail:

Model ZS351 does not have dual cleaning technology, lift-away feet as well as HEPA filter and a completely hypoallergenic filter.

The equipment of LED temple, 5'' crevice tool or the ability to clean 99.989% of dirt, allergens is only available in Shark apex uplight vacuum LZ601 that ZS351 series does not have.

To be fair, if you can afford it, try the Shark UpLight LZ601. If you don't, Shark ZS351 will be the best for you.

Nope, at least not in a random way (you can segment the cloud in smaller 'rectangles/boxes' with the Cross Section tool ('Repeat' mode) but in a systematic way.
