I'm using command line to process the pointclouds and CCViewer to show the result. I would like to see the subsampled master cloud in RGB and the classified parts of it (coming from separate clouds) in the color of the SF ( one color for each SF value). Is it possible? For instance, I have a whole church, which I would like to present, subsampled in RGB for the general context, and a part of the church, for instance, the columns, which I would like to present superimposed to the master cloud, but with one solid color. Is it possible using command line to create such a composed cloud?
I'm thankful for any help.
Merging pointclouds and viewing them differently
Re: Merging pointclouds and viewing them differently
Ah no, color field selection can only be done within CloudCompare (GUI). There's no mean to control these via the command line...

Re: Merging pointclouds and viewing them differently
What is the meaning of setting the active SF =-1 ? I thought it would mean 'no scalar field', hence RGB. Am I wrong? Sure I am.
Re: Merging pointclouds and viewing them differently
It would indeed mean 'no SF'. But if the Color source is 'Scalar field', then it will just correspond to a blank display (= point are displayed with the default color). It's also possible to do this in the GUI version.
