Export 288 scalar values of a single point to ASCII

Post by John M Meyer »

Hello,
I have hyperspectral data that has 288 scalar values associated with it that is draped on a LiDAR point cloud. I would like to pick a single point in the point cloud and export all of the scalar values associated with that point to an ASCII text file.

Here is a screen shot of a point selected and the value of the first scalar, which is the 951.583 nm band of the hyperspectral data.

Thanks for any help,
John

Ah, that's not possible... You'll have to segment the point with the scissors tool and then export it as an ASCII file.

Hi Daniel, thanks for getting back to me. I will try that work around. I think being able to export the scalar values for a single point that one selects with the point picking tool would be a nice feature to have for hyperspectral data that is being visualized in CC. Just my two cents.

Take care,
John
