Hello
I'm Hein. I have been learning CC since I found out a while ago. I have experences with point cloud related softwares before and noticed some functions that CC does not have but others(Or I just don't know it yet).
When I import txt file into CC, "Open Ascii File" window pops up and I can change X value as Y value and vice versa. But when Las or e57 file is imported, there is no option to exchange the XY value. I have seen those functions in other software such as TrendCore.
Is there a way to do it? I've been testing but got nothing.
So let me rephrase my question...
How can I exchange the XY value after importing LAS or e57 file into CC?
Thank you in advance.
Exchanging XY coordinates
Re: Exchanging XY coordinates
You can't do it directly, but you can first transfer the X and Y coordinate as scalar fields (with 'Edit > Scalar fields > Export coordinate(s) to SF'). Then transfer again these scalar fields to a different coordinate/dimension (select the right scalar field, then use 'Edit > Scalar fields > Set SF as coordinate(s)').
