GeoTIFF Raster scale
Could some help. I would like to extract a geotiff raster. How do I scale the raster to be scaled in autocad as I would like to draw a scaled drawing from the raster?
Re: GeoTIFF Raster scale
You mean you open existing tiff with cc
or generate tif from pc using projection
scale?? shifting or just scale
Can you explain more?

Re: GeoTIFF Raster scale
Hi
I have a point cloud of a property which I would like to create scaled as built drawing from in AutoCad LT. The problem is that AutoCad LT does not import point cloud data, but it does import geotiff raster images. Having made a section in cloud compare I would like to export the raster geotiff. While I know how to export the raster image although I am unsertain about the setting up the step/grid.
I find that the imported ruster is not to scale, what do I need to do to the image to scale the image in AutoCad LT to draw scaled drawings?

Re: GeoTIFF Raster scale
If pc is in correct scale in cc, generated geotiff will be in correct scale
you may have to set CRS (utm zone) to geo tiff using gdaltraslate.exe
but if you pc is not in correct scale, in cc use edit-->multiply/scale
to scale it
or edit-->apply transformation
to shift it
