Is it possible to consider implementing for meshes in CC including face properties such as RGB colour, scalars, scalar calculations (in addition to the normal ones that are already implemented) ?

Wow, that would be a huge work... And we tend to consider that CC focuses on point clouds (hence it's name 'Cloud'Compare). And 'Mesh'lab is generally a better tool to work with meshes.

I am very familiar with Meshlab, one of my dreams is to work in a single environment, now if CC natively supported coloured face meshes with the PyMeshLab + Python plugin for CC you would realise this dream, because your graphical user interface and multi-core calculation engine make your program the absolute best for cloud & mesh!
