Post by edgarth »

Hi,
Two questiosn please.
1.- How I can "adjust" to zero a cloud (mangrove near to the beach) that contains minus 2 meters, I cut in the graphic in SF prperties, but I dont know to pop up the simbology in order to now if now I get a 0 meters to 23...
2.- How can I know the units (tons, kgs, etc) in the result of volume calculation 2.5 D
Thanks in advance.

1. You can translate the cloud with 'Edit > Apply transformation' (there are various tabs, but the second one will let you specifically set the Z translation)

2. The volume is in cubical units. And the units depend on your cloud/coordinates. CloudCompare doesn't know the units as almost not point cloud file format store this information. But if you know that your units are mm for instance, then the volume is mm^3.
