STEP Model Import File Size Limit

Hello :)

I'm a little new to cloud compare and was looking at the STEP file import option.

I have had success importing small STEP models, but I get an error message when trying to import a larger model.

The error message is "An error occurred while loading 'File Name': the third-party library in charge of saving/loading the file has failed to perform the operation"

The model I am trying to import is about 40 MB.

Is this error due to file size? If so, is there any guidance on the file size limit?

Any information is greatly appreciated

I don't know, everything is delegated to the 3rd party library... And we don't get a lot of information currently.
