DB Tree missing panel

Post by MJS »

One of my colleagues has lost the DB Tree panel from his Cloud Compare install. I've also looked and cant see how to bring it back. He has tried reinstalling and deleting the install. Right click on the far left shows the DB Tree check box option greyed out. Any clues?

Quite odd indeed... I guess you should remove the CloudCompare folder from the registry. Are you on Windows or MacOS?

Then use the 'regedit' tool and delete the main "CloudCompare" entry (use the search tool - the parent folder should be something like "CCCorp", this entry might be more specific).

We save all gui positions there, so it should reset everything (but we should add a dedicated menu entry in CC to do this automatically).

Thanks Daniel. Its a quick way of resetting the GUI. As you say, an option to reset to default would be useful in the future.

Okay that's done. It will be available in the next release.
