Hey,
I'm not sure if it is a feature request or bug,
but it seems that CloudCompare only read the first object of an obj file.
Yet,
an obj file can contain several object, each starting with
"o my_object_name"
It looks like as a very easy fix (adding a loop ! )
Cheers
CC load only forst object of .obj file
Re: CC load only forst object of .obj file
He he, CloudCompare should read all the objects (and last time I checked it was working well, i.e. with version 2.6.1).
Pay attention that the objects appear as 'sub-meshes' below the main loaded object (i.e. you have to expand the DB tree).

Thanls Daniel for your fast reply.
Cloud Compare reads all objects, but each object faces should use global vertex numbering
(I think it is standard obj).
Workaround : use negative vertex numbering to reference to the latest redefined in each object.
It works well now (not with EDL in Object-perspective tough)!

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Can you explain a bit more or send me the file that didn't work?
