Profile Exporting problem

Dear Daniel, Dear CC users


I have extracted a cloud profile using Extract Sections Tool ( cfr img1). I would like to export this profile to AUTOCAD and in order to do this I have saved it as dxf. Importing this dxf file on edrawing viewer I obtain a different rendering of the profile (cfr img2) . Please, Could you give me some feedback about this issue?.

It may be a coordinate system issue (e.g. the profile is in the XZ plane while Autocad displays it in the XY plane?

You can also try to load the DXF file in CloudCompare again to see if the polyline is preserved?

thanks a lot for your quickly reply. I imported the dxf file in to CC and the polyline is preserved.
I will check how to solve the coordinate issue in to AutoCAD.

Or you can transform the polylines in CloudCompare before exporting to DXF?
