I just built CloudCompare from source. The build process appears to have completed without error, but every time I try to launch the application an error pops up saying "This application needs OpenGL to run!", then the program exits. This also happens when I install CloudCompare via apt-get (which is why I tried compiling from source).
Is this a bug or have I screwed something up?
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and qt4.
Thanks,
Bidski
OpenGL Error
Re: OpenGL Error
Not a known bug at least.
If the OpenGL test fails then something must be really wrong with your Ubuntu install (or the graphic card drivers? or qt4?). Can you launch the qt OpenGL demos?
Do you run Ubuntu on a virtual machine maybe?
