Sorry, just got started with this program, confused as there's too many functions available.
Is it possible to view the lat/long of any points and the origin of a .laz file. I have compiled with liblas and laszip included.

Well you can 'view' the coordinates of any point by spawning a label (SHIFT + left click on the point).

what about the UTM coordinate of the origin or any point, according to the spatial reference parameters in the .las file?

I bet you'll need the help of a GIS. or maybe lastools?
