Hi all,
I'm using cloudcompare to create topographical differences maps. I need to compare data related to different time clouds of the same rock mass with the aim to recognise rock falls and topographical differences in the study area. I'm working with vertical surfaces and I was thinking to use the M3C2 algorithm or the "compute cloud/cloud distance" plugin. Can I use one of these plugins for my purpose? If yes, which is the better one?
Thank you very much indeed for your help
Sara
Topographical differences maps
Re: Topographical differences maps
Definitely M3C2! More complex (you'll need to read the wiki and the article if possible) but it gives much more information and more robust results.
