Scale in cloud compare is different to scale set in Agisoft

Post by cullenni »

Hi,

I am using cloud compare for the first time. (Software and program are great) I just have a question regarding the scale shown in CC. I have created 2 point clouds that I want to compare in CC. (volume). I set the scale in agisoft however when I import as point clouds in CC the scale is different/wrong. This is obviously affecting my volume calculations but I can't figure out how to set the scale in CC. I have the same object that I used to set the scale in AgiSoft in the imported point clouds so is there was a way to manually set a scale in CC?
Thanks,
Niamh

What format are you using to transfer the clouds from Agisoft to CloudCompare?

Good Wishes Admin,
I am Inder Chauhan, using Cloud Compare V2.5.2 I have a Query regarding the Stretch of the scale.
I have Unix epoch timestamp in seconds as a scale factor in my point cloud like '1461694500.000760300' and that of the interval of change is very less i.e from 4th place after the decimal. So it's not showing the proper scale stretch. what should I do?
