Rasterize export options for Matrix

Post by ahatem »

I am trying to export a specific scalar field as a matrix. However, when I use the Rasterize tool, I can only rasterize the height field (original point cloud, not the cloud to cloud distances I'm interested in) to the matrix. I have selected the scalar field I'm interested in in the active layer, and updated the grid. An option box pops up when you select "raster" as the export option instead of "matrix." When I export the scalar field as a raster, I deselect export heights and select export currently displayed scalar field, and this exports the scalar field I want. I don't get a similar export options window when trying to export a matrix. Is this a bug? or am I missing something?

It's not really a bug. It's more that when the support for multiple layers was added, the Matrix export option was not updated... We'll have to add this to the TODO list.

Thank you! In the mean time, is there a way to extract the data from the cloud-to-cloud referencing without using a raster?

What do you mean by 'cloud-to-cloud referencing'?

If you speak about the distances, then you can simply export the cloud as an ASCII file (the distances - or any other scalar field - will appear as an additional column).
