2.8 Segment Tool Bug (?)

Hey Daniel,
after updating to the official release of 2.8. I'm getting the message "An error occurred while creating DB tree index: object 'Polylinie' has no parent" when using the segment tool. The message only appears sometimes, not on a regular basis, when creating the next edge of the polygonal selection. Unfortunately I haven't quite figured out how to easily reproduce this issue, though it usually only shows after segmenting a part, changing viewpoint and unpausing the segmentation tool.

Any idea what's going on?

I'm a bit puzzled. I can't reproduce the issue, and I really don't see how it can happen?!
