CC decimating unknowingly

I am trying to register a scan using a semi-large .las file.

When i first loaded the file into CC, it displayed properly, but after clicking on the "Align-2- clouds" option, my cloud will not display in its entirety.

This is not ideal because i cannot see the points that i would like to register the scan from.

Any thoughts on how to get the cloud to display fully again ?

I have attached an image showing what I am trying to deal with.

Does your cloud have big coordinates? Did you accept to apply the 'Global shift & scale'? (if not, you should ;).

Because this pattern looks a lot like a digit truncation issue...
