Nothing that seems useful, here goes, I just removed the paths and filenames:

[14:24:44] [I/O] CC has caught an unhandled exception while loading file '...(path to e57 with 'ä' in it)...'
[14:24:44] An error occurred while loading '(filename without .e57)': see console

Ah! That's another mistake that was introduced by this special characters test ;).

I'll update the beta version asap and I'll keep you updated.
