Ok so i'd just tried the "scale correctly" thing right away with another similar model i had and i reach this.

The calculated value was 970 cm3 and the real value was 951 cm3. That means a deviation of roughly 2%. WICH IS AWESOME !!!!

Now i'm thinking about what you said Daniel of placing a box and that could work for me in two ways.

1) the box's sides could give me an scale dimension
2) I could calculate first the volume of the reference box and check with that if the result is correct.

Yes, good idea! Normally if the clouds are dense (and since you are working with meshes, you can virtually get infinite density) the calculation should be pretty accurate (well as accurate as the 3D model is).

I see, that's because i can sample any arbitrary amount of points i want in a given mesh right?

I will try what we've discussed here with a new experimental dataset. Now i have a doubt, and i know i'm getting ahead of myself here, but if i had these stockpiles in a warehouse (image as example) where we have walls too, i could perform the same calculation with 'Volume 2.5D' between the cloud 'empty warehouse' and 'full warehouse' or in that cause i should try another aproach?

If the wall is vertical then yes, you could still use the same approach I guess.
