Automatic Line between two Points

Hi,
Working on a thesis, connecting pairs of 3Dpoints to construct a line that illustrates boreholes. Has there been any solution to this problem of connecting two points together as a line-object?

Based on the usermanual and some helpy AI may .poly-files be a possible solution. But it seems that it only can handle 1 , and only 1 polyline from each .poly-file at a time...

You can define multiple in a single file if you add a blank line between each series of vertices.
