Hello, I have just started using CC today. I have merged together two point clouds and calculated the distance between the clouds. Can someone tell me what measurement the scale is in ie cm or mm etc?

Mesurements are expressed in the same units as your clouds. CloudCompare doesn't handle units (what we call 'implicit units').
In your case it looks like it's in millimeters? Or fractions of inches maybe?!
