Long time since i used this fantastic software. A quick question:
Is it possible to set the scalar field steps to fixed values? For example every 10 cm?

Hi,
You should first create a custom color scale (Edit > Scalar Fields > Color Scales Manager - See http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... es_Manager). Set it as 'absolute' and set its limits to be multiples of 10 (e.g. between -100 and 100).
Then you'll have to go the 'Color Scale' of the cloud properties:
- use your custom color scale as ''Current' scale
- set the number of 'steps' to the appropriate value (e.g. 20 in my example)
(alternatively you can also create a custom absolute color scale with steps every 10 cm. - it just depends how many steps you need ;)
