I am waiting for a new desktop pc to work on some new point clouds, my next question is about monitor resolution. What is the best resolution that Cloud Compare can work on (it says the 4K screens are not compatible), how about 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440. I am using PC not Mac.

... or is it just a case of turning down the screen resolution when working with Cloud Compare ??

1920 x 1080 is fine, and probably 2560 x 1440 (you might just find the fonts to be very small!).
