Avoid binary/ascii in command line mode

When I save meshes in command line mode to STL, I have to click "ASCII/Binary" multiple times. How do I preset the choice to avoid the dialog?

There's no such option currently (apparently you are the first one to ask for it ;). We would have to add this option to the (huge) TODO list.
At least I can very easily prevent the dialog from appearing and use the BINARY mode by default for instance (when in command line mode).
Edit: if you are able to compile CloudCompare on your side, it would be very easy to remove the dialog... and faster than waiting for the next release of a beta version...

For the records, the next version will now output STL files in BINARY mode by default (so as to avoid displaying the dialog).
